Gov 2.0 Expo 2010
The Gov 2.0 Expo 2010 was held at the Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC, 25-27 May 2010. At the Expo, technology experts gave government employees and contractor access to practical tools, in-depth training, and industry contacts needed to achieve transparency, efficiency, and cost containment across 5 topics:
- Open Data and Web Services
- Social Networks and Collaboration
- Agile Government
- Could Computing and Security
- Emerging Technologies
Keynote speakers included Sir Tim Berners-Lee (inventor of the Web and Director of the World Wide Web Consortium) and Australian Capital Territory Senator Kate Lundy.
