Cheryl Foong, 5 May 2011
Guardian.co.uk has developed a World Government Data “Data Store” to allow users to search across jurisdictions worldwide.
In a Datablog entry, Guardian hails the Data Store to be “the ultimate gateway to world government data”. Currently, the Data Store sources data from UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand public sector data portals. Guardian plans to add more data sources in future, and anticipates that the project will increase in size and scope.
Australian data on the site is sourced from two data portals: data.australia.gov.au and data.nsw.org.au.
